Guides / Freight delivery
What to expect with bedroom furniture freight
We curate clearance and last-call bedroom pieces worth buying — then arrange US freight after you pay. This is not next-day parcel shipping. Here is what delivery usually looks like so you can plan the path into the room.
1. Timing: plan on weeks, not days
For most large bedroom pieces, 2 to 4 weeks after payment is typical. Smaller items (like a nightstand) often land closer to 1 to 3 weeks. Delays happen; six weeks is uncommon but possible. We do not promise 3–5 day delivery. Online order timing also sits under federal Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order rules — the FTC’s online shopping advice summarizes the consumer side. If we cannot fulfill in the listed window, you get a full refund.
2. Threshold / first dry area
Freight carriers usually deliver to the threshold or first dry area — curb, porch, garage door, or building lobby — not into the bedroom. Someone must be home to sign or receive. We cannot store the piece if you miss the window. Bring cartons inside the same day; do not leave finished wood in rain or direct sun.
3. Measure doorways and turns before delivery day
Measure the finished piece (or the largest carton size if listed) against:
- Front door width and height
- Hallways and stair turns
- Elevator depth (apartments)
- The path from drop spot to the bedroom
A full storage bed often ships in multiple boxes and needs clear floor space to assemble. A nightstand is usually one heavier carton — plan for two people to lift roughly 60–70 lb.
4. What you handle vs what freight handles
Freight gets the shipment to your address. You (or help you arrange) move boxes inside, open them, check for damage, and assemble. Keep packaging until you confirm everything arrived intact. Photograph any transit damage before discarding boxes.
5. Clearance pieces and honest expectations
We pick last-call finds we think are worth buying at the price shown — not a secret warehouse deal, just curated stock with straightforward freight. Availability can change; if a piece cannot ship, we refund in full. US addresses only on these listings.
